Reflectorized lamps combine in one unit, a light source and a highly efficient, sealed-in reflector. The reflector consists of vaporized aluminum or silver applied to the bulb's inner surface. These lamps provide controlled lighting in a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. The primary types are the "PAR" or parabolic reflector for outdoor service, and the "R" for indoor service. Most PAR and R lamps provide a dust free reflecting surface inside the lamp to direct the light without the aid of a fixture. They are available in both wide and narrow distribution patterns. Wattages range from 30 to 1000 watts.
